[ ohgreat, and now she's going to ramble even more because it's hard not to. well, scratch that. he wants to always, basically, right? but it's hard trying to figure out how to talk about them in a way that wouldn't lead to more explanations than she's willing to give. it's tricky! but.. also really quite simple, apparently, right now. her free hand starts to gesture a little bit, going into full explanation mode ]
I met Cisco pretty much back on day one. He signed up to take drum lessons with me - I teach drum lessons - and so we hung out all the time and we have a lot in common, so that's how he became my best friend. He left one time and came back and his memories were kind of foggy, but I think some part of him remembered me. He picked up drum basics way faster the second time. And then I asked him out on a date finally, um, a few weeks ago, which isn't usually- I don't date, going out on dates is so weird, but I don't know. Cisco's different. And [ big breath! ] Barry I also met on day one, but then he left, and then he came back and he didn't remember me or anything else about this whole place, but obviously I remembered him, and he started coming by the music shop more and more, and then we started hanging out outside of that [ hooking up, she means hooking up ] and I ended up having a lot in common with Barry too, but different things, somehow, so it was cool. Sometimes I think about asking him out on a date too, officially, but I keep chickening out for some reason. Ugh. Dating is so dumb.
[ is she done? she seems done. BUT NO. ]
The three of us are in a band together, too. The Quickies. We're pretty great.
